This policy explains what data we collect when you use Recovery Space, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. Plain language, no legalese hidden in footnotes.
Your name, email, age range, gender, nationality, country of residence, phone number, language preference, the messages / voice notes / photos you share with Coach Asmaa, your daily check-in entries, and basic device information used for app stability and crash reporting.
Data is stored in Supabase, encrypted at rest. Access is gated by row-level security rules so only you and authorized staff (Coach Asmaa, her admin / managers) can see your data. Voice notes auto-delete after 7 days to limit retention of sensitive audio.
Stripe (payments), Supabase (database + storage), Expo (push notifications), Sentry (anonymous crash reports — no personal data attached), Apple ID and Google (only if you choose those sign-in methods). Each handles your data under its own privacy policy. We have signed data-processing agreements where required.
We do not sell your data. We do not show third-party advertising. We do not share your conversations with Coach Asmaa for marketing purposes. We do not use your check-ins, messages, or any other personal content to train AI models — yours or anyone else's.
You can export your data, correct it, or delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the app. Under EU GDPR, Canadian PIPEDA, and similar laws you may also have the right to file a complaint with your local data protection authority. Email us first — we'll usually resolve it directly.
Account data is kept while your account is open. After account deletion, personal data is removed from active databases within 30 days, and from backups within 90 days. Payment records are kept longer (typically 7 years) as required by tax law.
Recovery Space is intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we delete it.
We will update this page when our practices change. The date at the top reflects the last update. For material changes we'll notify you in-app before they take effect.
