1. What this is
Recovery Space is a coaching service supporting people through eating-disorder recovery. It is NOT medical care, NOT therapy, and NOT a substitute for treatment by a licensed clinician or doctor. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services or a crisis hotline immediately.
2. Your account
You must be 18 or older to use Recovery Space. You agree to provide accurate information at signup, and you are responsible for keeping your password safe.
3. Programs and payments
Coaching programs are sold as packages with defined session counts and durations. Payments are processed by Stripe. Refunds and cancellations follow each program's individual terms which we share before you purchase. Sessions are time-bound; unused sessions expire per the program rules.
4. Conduct in conversations
Messages, voice notes, photos, and check-ins are private between you and Coach Asmaa. Please use the platform respectfully. Threats, abusive language, or content unrelated to your recovery may result in your account being suspended.
5. Crisis disclaimer
Recovery Space is not an emergency service. If you are thinking about harming yourself or someone else, please call 988 (US Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), 123 (Egypt Crisis Hotline), or your local emergency number right now. We may need to involve emergency services if a serious risk emerges in our conversation.
6. Liability
We provide this service with care but cannot guarantee specific recovery outcomes. To the maximum extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the program in question.
7. Intellectual property
The Recovery Space brand, website, app, written content, and coaching materials are owned by Coach Asmaa Gad Elrab. You may use them for personal recovery purposes only. Don't redistribute or commercialize without written permission.
8. Termination
You can delete your account anytime from the Profile screen. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. After termination, the privacy policy's retention rules apply.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt unless local consumer-protection laws in your country apply. Disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first; courts of competent jurisdiction otherwise.
10. Changes to these terms
We will update this page when our practices change. The date at the top reflects the last update. Material changes will be notified in-app before they take effect.
